The Gigabit Ethernet G4 (PowerPC 7400) is similar to the AGP model in regards to internal design architecture. This model introduced the dual processor to the Mac with a dual 450 MHz and dual 500 MHz model. The video card replaces the DVI connection with Apple's ADC connection, which can support a 15", 17", or 22" Apple LCD. As the name suggests, this was the first model that had native Gigabit ethernet support. The fast network connection and available dual processors, makes this a fine choice for a file server.
